Volunteers receive early access to shopping based on the number of hours worked (e.g., 10 hours grants access before partners), priority item drop-off, snacks or lunch during long shifts, and official recognition of social service hours for students. They may also receive small thank-you gifts and personalized thank-you letters.

Volunteers complete an online registration form—different for adults and students—indicating their availability. Forms are first sent to existing volunteers and then shared on social media if more help is needed. Each volunteer receives a confirmation message and is later assigned a specific zone and task, managed by a coordinator.

Volunteers assist in sorting items, supporting logistics, guiding partners, and managing returns. They are briefed on safety, respectful behavior, and equipment use. Some experienced volunteers may also be involved in charity distribution or crisis handling during high-pressure phases of the event.
